Landscape photography is a genre intended to show different spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. Landscape photographers usually attempt not only to convey the documentary aspect, but also an appreciation of the scenery that is being photographed.- wikipedia
I won't claim to be good at this field. If you have a DSLR, there are a lot of dedicated lenses that will let you capture the scene more artistically. There are a lot of latest techniques also that the professionals are using now like HDR photography, but I'm not much into technical stuff. I am limited to Picasa photo editor which is only for basic photo editing. So I'm always targeting to capture the scene as beautiful as I can when snapping them, my objective aside from enjoying the scene is to have less post-photo editing.

These shots are the best that I can with my bridge camera, they may not be the best but I love each of them! Enjoy my shots!

DeleteWow, luvin the pix, especially Bali and Saigon Park. Great that you don't use Photoshop. Lotsa photos posted online are too beautiful to be true. I also prefer something more raw and truthful to reality.
ReplyDeleteBtw, surprised to see something like Christ the Redeemer statue (in Rio, Brazil) in...of all places...Tarlac! haha!
They all look very exciting! Ako I don't have DSLR kaya dinadaan ko nalang sa anggulo. Hehe. At kung talagang maganda ang subject kahit point and shoot pa yan yakang-yaka di ba? :))
ReplyDeleteYou know what makes your shots work? The landscape is juxtaposed by a great foreground (like that fisherman's boat)
ReplyDeleteyou can make money from this photos... have you tried selling them in stock photo sites?
ReplyDeleteThanks Romelo! Actually I did submit photos and have some approved by fotolia and dreamstime but very tough competition dun you will be competing with professionals.. It's just the thought of professionals criticizing my work that triggered me to submit.. That's a good enough for me! I haven't tried other photo sites.. Will check them out.. Thanks! ;)
DeleteI feel so backward when it comes to photography..I find your photos very gorgeous, full of stories, and professionally done.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame I could not make even close to what you have done here. Great works.Keep up.

ReplyDeleteIn support of my friend who you put in the hospital because he is now suffering with depression, I am joining the Thomas Carlton boycott of your products, pages, and any other online content you may have because even though I dont know you, you throw around words and play with opinions of others with absolutely no regard to what is going on.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being there for Jeff, I am thankful to know he has friends around him during this tough time. But like you said, you don't know me so please stop judging. Ask Jeff what happened for the past 6 years, how many times has he visited me and spent time with me? I waited and waited for nothing, so please before you judge me know the facts first... No one has the right to judge anyone but God, so leave the judging to Him. You can boycott me all you want, I don't care, I still want Jeff to be good. And I am documenting all these harrassments just in case I need to talk to a lawyer soon but hoping it won't come to that. For now Please please take care of Jeff, there are a lot better things to do than plot a revenge like helping him cope the better way? Just a suggestion...
DeleteWOW! Spectacular shots! Seeing these places through your lens makes me wanna go there right now!...I love the Capones Island shot...:-)
