According to TripAdvisor, The Lighthouse Marina Resort ranks as #1 hotel in Subic Bay ( as of this writing). It is strategically located at the west side of Moonbay Marina which is well known as the leisure strip of the Freeport Zone, within the Central Business District and short distance to restaurants, shopping malls, diving sites, and other entertainment center.
The Lighthouse Marina is the venue of our Photojournalism Workshop today administered by the Resort and subictimes.com so I was able to take photos, let me share some:

The lighthouse is adorable, the skies, very picturesque!
ReplyDeleteThank YOu Marie! ;)
DeleteThere is something about lighthouses that attract people's attention. Probably because a lighthouse symbolizes a beacon in a dark, stormy night.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, Vivs, as always!
Exquisite resort, as if one is transported to the tropical suns of Florida. Breezy and calm.
ReplyDeleteOh, so it's a boutique hotel! Is the lighthouse still functions? I remember having a stop-over here for photo ops, when my daughters had the fieldtrip to Subic. Suc a nice place, I knew some of the couple who had pre-nup photos here as well.
ReplyDeleteHI JOy! Yeah, this place is a favorite backdrop for pre-nups. Yes the lighthouse is still functioning. A part of it too is a restaurant now, just enough space for a couple! ;)
DeleteSuper nice! I love the lighthouse! ^_^
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, nice pictures! They are truly state of the art! And the location is very relaxing, and the lighthouse, best.
ReplyDeletethank you so much! I have not photographed the lighthouse at night, I would post it here surely, it looks better at night because of the colorful lights. ;)
DeleteVery nice hotel indeed! Hubby and I stayed there for 2 weeks and we fell in love with the place and the staff. Plus the owners are really nice and friendly too. Highly recommended!
ReplyDeletewow 2 weeks! I am a resident of Olongapo and hoping I can also have a night out here.. hehe. Planning a wedding too and I just inquired about their rates too, it would be a great venue for weddings. ;)
DeleteWhen we went to subic for a business trip, we never come back to manila till we see the lighthouse. i even mentioned to my daughter that what if someday we'll have a lighthouse of our own haha... really so seldom to see for me... :D
