Have you been to Singapore's Chinatown?
Walk around Chinatown and one temple will surely stand out among
others. In the middle of the busy, crowded and noisy Chinatown is an
intricately designed Buddhist temple inspired by Tang Dynasty which is
called the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum. The temple was founded in 2002 by Venerable Shi Fazhao which is dedicated to the Maitreya Buddha, which
means ‘The Compassionate One’, and also called ‘The Future Buddha’.

Required Attire:
Ladies wearing shorts or above the knee skirts will not be allowed inside the temple. Those wearing sandos and slippers will also not be allowed entry. However, shawls are available before entry to the temple for public use.

DeleteI always go to Chinatown when I am in Singapore and I have already passed by this temple but never entered the temple. Thanks to you I now know what's inside the temple.
