Sunset at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar

sunset at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac Bataan

When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator. - Mahatma Gandhi

I am a bonafide nature lover. I can sit all day and just be with nature. How can I get bored watching this magnificent beauty? I grew up in a place beside the sea, every weekend nung mga bata pa kami lagi kami sa beach nagbababad, beach reminds me of family. It reminds me of home.

A little background about the place: Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a 400 hectares heritage resort located in Bagac, Bataan. It is owned by art collector Architect Jose Rizalino “Jerry” Acuzar, which aims to showcase our Filipino heritage. The resort features a collection of 27 Spanish Colonial Buildings which were carefully dismantled and transplanted piece by piece from Manila (Binondo, Tondo and Quiapo), Quezon, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, La Union, Ilocos and Cagayan to Bagac for rehabilitation and reconstruction.
